National Song of India Vande Mataram



Vande Mataram is very famous quote which has been by the freedom fighters as the national cry for getting freedom from British rule.The song Vande Mataram, composed in Sanskrit by Bankimchandra Chatterji, was a source of inspiration to the people in their struggle for freedom.The song first appeared in his book ''Anandamatha'', published in 1882 amid fears of a ban by the British Raj, though the song itself was actually written six years prior in 1876.Originally Vande Mataram Song was written two languages, Bengali and Sanskrit.Two most beautiful stanzas of the original Vande Mataram song have been officially declared as the National Song of India in 1950 after the independence of India.

Suhasinim ,sumadhura bhasinim

Meaning: Glory of moonlight dreams, Over thy branches and lordly streams, Clad in thy blossoming trees, Mother, giver of ease Laughing low and sweet! Mother I kiss thy feet, Speaker sweet and low! Mother, to thee I bow.
